Pre 99 Disc conversion

I've been searching on here with no luck. Everyone is talking about doing the conversion on the 99 + models but what about the pre-99's. Is the only option buying the conversion kit, or can I get the stuff out of a 99+ GT and put it in my 98 se?

The 99+ rear end is completely different. You'll need to purchase a conversion kit. There are 3 options I'm aware of... RSM, the one on RKsport, and Mantapart.

and this is the sort of thing that if you have the $$$ to do it,do it,disc brakes are so much better then drum and look a whole lot better then drums,especially if you have nice rims. I will get to this eventually:(

Oddly enough I've seen a 95 GAGT with stock-sized rear disc brakes. The car was from out of province though but I have seen it around twice. If I ever see it again I'll try and get an upclose pic.
