Hey Guys

My name is is Trish, I'm a 20 yr girl from Chicago! I just bought my 2003 GT on Monday... Before that I had a 2000 Dodge Neon ES.. I miss it terribly :( But.. I think this was a nice upgrade... However... with only 18, 4xx on mileage... I already have my first problem :???: I went for an oil change at *ahem* Jiffy Lube I got Mobil 1 fully syn oil put in.. And about 2 minutes later... my low coolant light came on.. NOw the guy had just told me all my fluid levels were ok.. And this light has NOT been on at all since I've had the car :mad: Any ideas?

welcome to the club!!! mhmm jiffy lube huh,well if ur light wasn't on when u took it in to jiffy lube then u need to keep going back and complaing,saying that it wasn't on prior do u taking it in,and if it was they usually would have written it down when the car came in for service or ask u about it.I used to work at a jiffy lube a while back.so make sure they fix the problem.and also make sure ur not leaking fluid.good luck hope everything goes well.congrats on the new ride.make sure u post pics.

Welcome! Your lower intake manifold gasket might be leaking. Take it to dealer since you still have warranty. Where is Tinley Park? I used to live in NW side of Chicago.

Yea I called the dealer ASAP I have an appt next tuesday.. As for where Tinley Park is.. it's on the southside of chicago... about 30 mins south ;) Thanks for the welcome guys... I'll post pics of her in a lil bit :P Oh and another thing.. As a former Mopar owner.. I nearly got chastized for goign GM... They say the Grand Am's have TONS of problems... Are they just spookin me? :roll2:

GA's have two main problems that I am aware of. These would be the LIM gasket and the brake rotors. Definately an upgrade from the Neon!

Neon vs Grand Am :), having this car will make up for the minor problems you're going to have with it... My ex has a 2003 Neon SXT.. alright entry level car, but it's supposed to get 33 MPG, best I've ever got is 26, kind of pathetic for a 4 cylinder, 2500 lb car. Anyways Welcome!! :) make sure to post some pics :)
