I was wondering if any of you other 2.0 turbo owners have experinced this same problem. My car starts fine, Run's for 5 to 10 min., then dies out and will not start again. after waiting an hour or so it will restart, run, then die again. I have replaced the fuel filter, plugs, wires, and coil. The cap and rotor where replaced last fall before i put the car away for the winter. I have fuel flow at the rail, and presure. I have run out of ideas on what could be causing this. Any help or sugestions would be greatly appericated.
On a side note. Its nice to finally find a grand am site that has other members with this rare car. To know others have been laughed at at the dealer ship, or told that the car never existed.

Welcome aboard:) Sorry I have no idea what could be causing it to die out. Its weird because it runs for 5-10 mins. Got me lost but I'm sure somebody will help point you in the right direction:)

did you start it up at all when it was stored or just let it sit?

i was told that when you store a car and dont plan on starting it till it comes out you should change the oil and just before you put it away im not sure why i just rember someone telling me that

have you changed the oil sence you took it out?

I changed the oil maybee 200 miles before i put it away. A friend has suggested changing the fuel pressure regulator, but I'm not sure what that would have to do with my problem. It's worth a shot anyways. I'll keep you all posted
