I kick around the idea pretty much daily in my head (along with other things). I think an '88 would look cool laid out. :)

laied out is the key... I wouldn't be happy if I saw too much of a gap from the ground to the bottom of the body :D

just got a response for a ruff estimate on equipment and install from a shop in NY (Suspensioin Worx) of ruffly $2500. They said I'll be haring back from them laterthis week with a more exact price. A little more then I have to spend on the suspension, but if its completely laied out.... come on, how sick would that look! Of course I'd have to go with bigger wheels to tuck. :-)

what kinda setup they quoting you? I'd assume strut bags in the front and regular air springs on the back. Just make sure they know you want it laid out, cuz if they just bolt up a set of air struts up front, chances are it won't.

Yeah, chances are the $2500 quaote was jsut for a basic "bolt on" system, which is a starting point. I'd imagine laying it out would be alot more involved with, raising up the strut towers and shock towers in back to give everything more room to articulate, along with mods done to the fender wells etc...
