First you need to get you one of these

Then stretch... mainly your back and shoulders. Next, take off the plastic covering below the glove box. It's held on by those speed clips and maybe a small bolt or two, it's been a long time since I've replaced this part.
You'll end up seeing the blower motor plugged into the resistor.

Remove the plug.

Now, get your self a 1/4" drive ratchet and a 8MM socket... i think... or use whatever fits and remove the two bolts holding in the resistor. The one in the back that you can't see is the most difficult.
After the old one is removed, you can probably see that it's burnt out somewhere on the board.

Installation is the reverse of the removal. I did some more stretching before I tried to put the new resistor in though.
