does any body know if thi the APEXi air flow controller adds any performance for the grand am 2.4 liter, any replies are apreciated.

It is a tuning tool, not a performance device. It is used to add/subtract fuel to tune for other mods that would normally exceed the parameters of the ECU. It's really only useful for forced induction or engines with extensive machining.

yea,unless you running nitrous,a SC or turbo, its a worthless mod for a mild modded engine(ex intake,exhaust,etc....) But Im sure it couldn't hurt having for future stuff as long as you do get them

Not that I am calling you an idiot .... but an AFC in the hands of an idiot can do serious damage to an engine. Not exactly a beginner piece. Best to leave the install to a good shop with some dyno time.
