hey guys would adding the borla void any part of my warranty i still have a year it ends in june of 06. Is ther anywhere to get it for cheap i hear at a few posts they only paid $500. i hate the exhaust tips they are so hard to keep clean, i might just change the tips for now than wait till after the warranty expires, but borla will come cause i want a little more pep on the road.

PFYC.COM has Borla on sale for 687.99. They are not cheap exhaust systems. I have one. You won't be disappointed. It's louder than stock but not too loud and I do notice the power difference.

Best of all, is their appearence. My stock system hung slightly lower on the passengers side, the tips rusted or discolored, and you could always see the muffler setting under the car. With the Borla exhaust, you can't see the muffler at all and the tips hang balanced and tight to the bumper.

the only part of the warranty that will be voided is the exhaust warranty, which is ok since it wont be there anymore.

If I buy the borla system, could I install it easyily, or would I be better off taking it to a GM garage?

yeah 04redgt did you install it yourself i hear that borla is usually a direct bolt on system. sometimes its better to have the exhaust welded than clamped together. welding ensures no exhaust leaks but clamps make it easier to install and take it out

Had my mechanic istall it. I don't have a lift of any kind. Only charged me 50$. I'm pretty good friends with him and helped him out a bit. It's a bolt on system. There's really no need to weld. However, I think I'm gonna have it mounted rigid in the middle. I'm experiencing some rattle near the resinator.
