I'm not sure how to feel here. Something about the video was annoying. For one thing, watching a firebird scream past a tractor trailer is kind of like a Smokey and The Bandit meets Blood on the Highway sort of thing. Playing in an empty lot is one thing, but that semi-controlled skid near the end was in a far too populated area.

Cut the close ups and cut the road action, it was poor quality anyway. Put the mid footage with some interview footage about the cars, not silent snaps shots, and practice being safe. Oh and don't blur the tags, take em off when in the lot and be on a lot that you have permision to use and that is closed to the public. The police typically won't touch you then.

Also, cut out the music or just fade it in occasionally. Having it blaring just sounds like someone forgot to turn off the cd player when editing the footage.

You'd be suprised at what some people will do. Some kids spend thousands of dollors on there cars and go out and destroy them and kill themselves street racing. Ill tell you one thing. I got my car as a graduation present and you would think they would treat it better as it was a present. Kinda like I have with my car. You can assume there parents bought it. But your way off to automatically assume that.

Im goin to have to agree with Trish ("The Dish") on this one here Eric. Sure the whole "mommy and daddy speech", as you referred to it as, is a generalization, but the thing about a generalization is, it is considered a true discription of the majority. Im cool if you are fortunate enough to have your parents take care of some stuff for you (a GAGT for graduation? I got 200 bucks!), but just because you are an exception in appreciating what you have, doesnt mean these dorks do.

I know some of those who are irritated by such a display of stupidity are ennoyed because of the fact that they bust their balls to pay their own way in life and dont get a helping hand. Maybe a bit of jealousy going on, maybe just a disliking for anyone who abuses their posessions? Regardless, I think more times than not, those who are handed everything in life are less likely to appreciate what they have (I know, bold statement), so dont get so up in arms about the matter.

You still agree that they are retards, so its all hugs and kisses in this thread.

I couldn't watch the whole thing...Kinda lost interest in it. Not enough beating on the cars. Watched about 2 mins so I don't know if there was anything better after that, but judging by the majority of the responses..... WACK.

Not saying I coulddo anything better, but wide open parking lot, v8 stang, and Trans Am.... I wouldn't expect to see an inch of that lot not covered by burnouts or donut marks.... maybe some tranny or rear end parts. :D

When I was 18 I owned a '92 Z28 (do the math it was only 3-4 years old then) and I lived on my own and paid for it by myself.

And as for abuse that wasn't much of anything, actually the video was pretty weak IMO. My Xtreme will do donuts alot better than that and my GN would smoken for ever.

Let me go get my tires off my Camar one of these days and I'll show you guys a burn out. 4.3 liter with no power braking and how it'll embarrass those pony cars in a smoke show and rubber marks. WOOT

as for people hatin on them doing it to there cars, WTF? only hurtin the tires if they are catchin posi... i dont see the point of owning a car mainly RWD), putting some exhaust on it, intake, ect.. and not doing burnouts or dougnuts here and there... its not like the vid said they do this every night at 7... i got countless hours of video of my friends and me doing burnouts, muddin, speedin, snow driftin in FWD's, hardcore batmans ect ect... hell, my s-10's get redlined and the tires slightly squaked daily... and who cares if its mommy's or daddy's, ive beatin the $hit out of my parents cars numerous times, hell, there ebrakes have been up more than down... if yer gonna jsut drive your car, and not get on it, mizel drive a friggin prius...
