due to some unforseen circumstances i dmged my driver side rocker panel and had to fix it. I cant get it repainted though, so i got some new vinyl to cover up the repair til i get new paint.

so having said that, here are a couple of the new vinyl

ps...dont mind the random cleaning crap... i just spent 5 hours on the whole car gettin ready for M2 this weekend...

also, let me know if the pics dont work cause i had to link off the public section of aed since the photopost is locked up w/ the 99+ headlight pics

Looks awesome to me....I can't spot any difference. (at least to the naked eye. Hope everything works out for you..........

Yeah I can't see anything either, I guess thats the purpose of the vinyl though =P Are you going to take it off when you can get it re-painted? Normally I don't like vinyls but they seem to go really well on it.

yeah u cant see the dmg. I had to glass n bondo the back of the rocker panel by the driver side rear tire (thats why the down "stripe" on the graphic is so wide, because it had to cover a huge area that was messed up). Its all fixed, and just reprimed, but i am no longer in touch w/ the painter and u cant just replicate this paint so im pretty much SOL til i get the whole car repainted. Next color will be orange (dont have a specific yet) so ill be the first 96-98 ga (that im aware of) thats orange

Love that color and the car looks good minus the vinyl but i understand teh reasoning. Good luck and i say get another blue instead of orange.

well the car is actually black w/ blue metal flake in it. The problem is that anyone cant just repaint it. my buddy was gonna do it, but he needed to know what gun was used, how far away the guy stood, what nozzle was on the tip of the gun and the paint codes... NONE of that information i have, and my painter doesnt talk to me anymore so im sol.

Looking good man,deffinately can't see the damage. Thats is the ONLY vinyl design I love on our year GA's. Love your car man,yours and Peyman's are the 2 I love the best of our year:)

as a general rule, the seven spoke wheels are played out... but they fit your car like a glove.


and they're white, which fits my fetish nicely. :D

^^LOL...not so much the 7 spoke, but specifically the motegi MR-7...ha... believe me it wasnt my first choice, but what i got at the time that my first choice was unavailable....

There is one new orange 97 GT, its the turbo one that was for sale on EBay, and bob picked it up, wants to run it to 12psi, but working fine at 8 right now. the orange is pretty badass, I thought it would look stupid on a GA, bu its nice. you should go for the fusion orange color form the 99+ GA's -- its such a badass color

and as far as the paint changing colors... it wont be til at least the middle of 06, if not the winter of 06-07
