hey guys, i know there has been and exhausting amount of questions about exhaust for the granny, but i just want some feedback on my ideal setup that will soon be in the works to help my little 2.4 liter breathe better. as soon as i figure out which header is the best, that will definetly be upgraded but my idea is to get rid of the resonator and cat( no emissions in south florida) and go gun ho str8 pipe itll i get to the exit but i want a dual side by side can muffler exiting out of the middle of my bumper, right under the liscence plate, the way i see it in my head looks way sick, but maybe im just sick, any suggestions, comments and feedback are apreciated.

I've always thought exhaust in the middle looks goofy no matter what the car.

my buddy Mike(ga5speed) has the center exhaust,but hes got a rear bumper(AED kit) that has room for it,other wise it is going to be hard to do it smoothly. I think its unique,not my cup of tea but give props to people who do it because its different

Wow "str8 pipes" on a GA 2.4L LD9 would be something to hear I think it might be a lil rumbly like dry beans in a can but damn the power you will get and the center exhaust will be a nice thing to do although it isnt my bowl of cereal so you want to know what type header well i would go with a ceramic coated head since youll be running str8 pipes youll ned something to handle the heat a lil better than cast iron or carbon steel the duals shoudlnt be that hard to run they might hang down a bit and be noticiable buit if you have a rear skirt kit on it wont matter. what size tip are you gettin on your mufflers? What Dia piping will you use for your str8 pipes? have you thought about the O2 sensor ?

str8 pipes sound sexy what i would do is I would have my pipes coming out the lower reverse light holes in the bumper.

baisically im lookin at 2 1/4 piping and like a 3 to 4 inch tip im not sure yet i have to talk to mu mufler shop it sux that i cant do this myself but there not going to exactly be duals im just going to have a dual ca muffler thinck of it as 2 rice cans but straped together with only one inlet, the way i oicture it in my head looks good im gunna fab up a photoshop pic of it i just need to take a rear shot of my car.
