Yep, I want to advertise bob's badass turbo GAGT here, since I love it soo much. Hah! I wanna see it in person now, but that is besides the point, I just cleaned my 97 GAGT today with that MrClean autodry stuff, and its really nice, since its about 115 here in AZ right now, getting no waterspots is near impossible, but MrClean did it all for me. PLus 10 minutes is least amount of time ive ever washed my entire car in.
Here's the shots, Id like to think all of them came out really really good. 56ker and people with tiny monitors beware!

Your blinker overlays look good...but how well do they show up?

So y'all are in AZ? Sounds like a bitchin' project. If y'all ever need an extra wrench let me know, or need someone that can weld or whatever.

Oh man, yea, I blew one or more of the lifters in the exhaust cam... I am skilled! Its getting all taken care of this weekend. Swear to god! And the overlays ARE sexy, but you cant see the blinkers at all in the daytime and very little at night, Yea its illegal, so I will be pulling that vinyl off and using some tinting spray or something similar, then a clear coat to seal it all up nicely. But thats after I do my pre-100K mile tune up and get everything working 100% until I go for appearance

my baby was just towed out of my back yard not but 10 minutes ago, and the flatbed truck that came already had some stupid arsed Nissan Altima on it already, so my car got stuck riding bitch. But, since my car isnt lowered, it had plenty of clearance. I just hope it gets to its destination in the exact same condition that it left my house in. Or else. I can't wait to have it back, it shouldnt be long.

Hey, an update on this (i hate making new threads) -- The car is in the shop finally, and nothing but bad news to report. Apparently then knock wasn't from the cams at all, it actually orignated from the lower end, the area of the number 3 cylinder. A full diagnosis was ran on my car, and apparently the #3 cylinder has lost all compression! Good stuff, and the bearing was spun, destroyed so much -- though the car still runs, its not even worth it to save the motor, so I have found another LD9 that is refurbished with about 80K mioles on it, for 700 I will buy the engine and have it shipped to the mechanic, and he agreed to put it in the car for less than 1K in labor. Since I failed the last time I did an engine swap on a GM vehicle, I'll leave this one up to the professionals this time around. I think it is well worth the money to save my car, I love it with all my heart, and Im not gonna put it down just because it needs a new engine, the body is effing MINT. I will have this car until the day I die

psh... you could buy my car here in a month or two, i'm getting a bike. 'sides, it's not that bad taking care of your car in the AZ heat... do it at night, proves to be MUCH easier.

Well, I dont want a new GA, I want my 97 GAGT. ANd its not the heat,. if you would have read my post at all, you would it is my lack of skill and knowledge of the Pontiac engine that has kept me from putting the new engine in myself, and I always work on my car at night, even though the lows at night are now at about 85-90 on average. Damn heat wave.

That sucks man...we are in the same boat for needing a new motor. I'm hoping to keep the GA for a while longer so I'm gonna get the 3.1 rebuilt and hopefully that will take care of it for a while. My oil pump went only with who knows what else. I'm looking to get the car done in 2-3 weeks :( not really how long I wanted to wait but whatever. It's already been a month without it and I miss it more every day. Hopefully she's back on the road for ya soon :)
