The New JL Audio

Well I just added 2 JL Audio W1's in a slot ported box. It hits so damn good. I have a JL Audio 500/1 Amp powering it is a well :D To be honest, right now the amp is just a 1/4 and it hits. There will be still 200 watts not being used once i pump up the amp.
I love it - you would be surprised how hard it hits.

hmmm your door speakers are installed the same way as mine. :D

Ive been wondering about the W1s, i hear that they are better than the W0. THey are supposed to be a shallow speaker, ideal for mounting under seats in some cars. (ie Dodge ram rear bench)

have you compared them to any other speakers? what about the W3?

thanks :D, i will be comparing this summer. All I need to do is go to the sound store and swap out the boxes and test it (i know the owner.. i'm shooting towards maybe a W6 in a ported box. I'm not sure yet, it's fine for me now. I'm trying ot get some crazy ideas going so i can custom make a box and set the w1's in the box they are in over top. Just so i can have JL on one side lit up and audio lit up on the other with the 500/1 in the middle... could be a summer project :)
