ecm malfunction?

hi..
man oh man do i need some help..
i have to pass the emmissions test or the suspend everything..
but my cars issues are all unsolved..

the check engine light is on and the ets off sign is on..
the last time i took it to autozone and got a scan..
it was the O2 sensor.. i replaced it.. it worked .. but then the lights came right back on and my car started driving funny.. surging.. lack of power sometimes when i gas it..

now i took it to autozone again to get it scanned..
and none of there scanners will get a reading from the cars computer..
the screens are all just black they tested them on other cars.. and the scanners work perfectly fine..


any help??? i dont have the money to take it to a gm shop and get raped..

Thanks for not double-posting the same topic in the future.

We 'old guys' also read the 'Problems and Solutions' forum, so this thread will be answered there (if we can stay awake long enough to type a complete re..s.p..on....s... . . ..).
