Hey All, 00 Venture

I got a 2000 Venture, same motor (3.4) as grand ams. I wanna mod it more then what I have done, and i can use parts for your guys cars :). My computer is mounted on airbox so that will involve more moding lol. Anyways here are some videos of it :

for as much crap talking as we grand ams get, youve gotta get way more. i mean...even if you made your van "fast", would you even want to drive it fast? ive seen some nice vans...but venture doesnt seem to be one that could be to that level.

There is this dumbass in my town that I see all the time rollin' either a Montana or Venture, cant remember which at the moment, but its COMPLETELY riced out with altezzas, stick on hood scoops, and all kinds of other crap... makes me want to vomit. At first I thought it was funny but then I met the guy who owns it when I was at the local Auto Zone and he's a chode, and completely serious about his Van, its ridiculous.

I mean, Im all for having pride in your vehicle, but lets be reasonable here.

No, its got WAI thats only mod.. (didnt have it in that vid it was stock, alot louder now) me and my dad (his van is the honda) are makeing a seal for top of airbox with cone filt. in to create a CAI..anyways ya so what, i got the van at a great price, its great on gas and it goes good enough for what it is, sounds nice im happy with it, same motor as u guys, rated with 10+ ponies

they have good deals on mircofiber and some cleaning stuff every now and then... if im bored ill go to get a good laugh at some of the stuff they're actually serious about selling.

that 10+ HP would be great if it was proven, and if that van didnt weigh in at about 750+ lbs than our Grand Ams, but still, I love that motor, even if they SHOULD have offered a 6-speed transmission for it, or in the least, mated the getrag to it or something... anything but a hydramatic auto trans.

grand ams are just horrible geard, its like night and day compared to my shifts, and shift points on my TGP compared to a grand am, but mines a vacuum controld 4T60-HD while the grand ams have a 4T65-E

we have the 4T40-E and 4T45-E....

Its gearing that makes these cars slow, especially the SE.
Too bad no one makes a kit for better gears or something.. maybe something in the range of 3.43's. Maybe Milzy can hook us up...
