I have a 94 GA GT V6.....My instrument panel, radio, and hvac lights will not work when the headlights and/or parking lights are turned on.

The radio lights work fine when the headlights aren't turned on....just turns the lights off.

I replaced the multifunction switch in december so thats not the problem. Nor is the dimmer/fog light switch. I've tried 2 different new ones of those. My fog lights work fine and I can turn all my interior lights (map lights and floor lights) on using the dimmer switch.

My instrument panel fuse did blow when it happened.....replaced the fuse and hasn't blown again since.

What am i missing.....please help!!!!! It sucks driving at night not seeing anything of whats going on with your car.

I have since sold the car. But not before I figured out what it was. After talking to several dealers in the area.......the Instrument Cluster needs to be replaced. The controller for the interior lights is part of it. The controller can't be replaced separately as it is integrated into the rest of the cluster's circuitry.

It costs about 400 bucks to get a new one calabrated and installed at the dealer. If you can find a used one (which I couldn't to save my life) and don't care about the mileage read out.....go for it. But you MUST install a GT cluster out of a 94-95 that had a V6 in it. Every trim level, model year, and engine had different programming and/or different guages.

Hope that helps. Write me if you 'd like to know more.
