Looks sweet man. The style of the front is not my cup of tea but it sure is different and most likely one of few to have this style kit. Deffinately has its own look to it and props to being different. Keep the good work up on it.Id say dont lower it any or if you do go Eibachs otherwise your going to get some nasyt front bumper rock chips.

Car looks ok. My only problem are the ribs. Pull those things off! Other than that, keep up the good work!

I agree Ryan, the front isn't my first choice either but it is different which is always good. I say shave the emblems off and maybe even consider getting rid of the se ribs on the doors. I like the back too, it's right in your face...:)

Thanks Vanishing Image. Yea, I thought I would put some green neon lights on the bottom anyways. The front bumper is especially bold. It is unique. =) You think the tail lights look fine?

Yea, I was debating weather to take those ribs off or not.

whats the best to remover the grandam emblems without damaging the paint? Can I just pull them off gently?

Take a blowdryer, and heat them up a little bit. Then take a piece of fishing line or something similar and see-saw between the emblem and the tape. Then peel off the rest of the tape using your fingers. I used some goo-gone on a soft cloth and that took off the rest of the sticky residue. After you are done, wash the area thoroughly and apply a good coat of wax. :)

What would the tails look like with a light smoke cover on them. Just a thought. Personally I'd leave the ribs on it. The cars look like they are missing something without them. You have an agressive style going on, the ribs finish it off. Besides if you take it off you'll have those ditches in the doors, and that's not cool.

Here's a thought, leave the spolier off. Cancel the order and save the scratch. Why you ask. Every Grand Am under the sun has a spoiler of some sort (mine included). You have a bold style going on already with that car, and it doesn't ned a wing on the back. With the tint, the wheels, and the kit, it's good to go. A factory grand am needs it to spice it up, your car is already a jalepeno.

A short, small simple spoiler would look nice, debadged would help, and the kit is cool except the back end... but that's not your fault. I love the color!! Welcome to the club.

Thanks for the helpful feedback! I appreciate it! I think I will remove those badges. My spoiler is aready on order, but it is conservative with a break light built in. b2089, thanks for your detailed review.

Yea I say leave the ribbing on,the ditches in the door make the sides look incomplete and it would be more work to have them filled in then its worth, unless you get the RKSport door panels(dunno if they sell them without the kit). The tails are sweet, good choice with the black, chrome I think would take away from the agressiveness. Depending on the spoiler(pic might help?) I like the look of no spoiler, too many people are putting spoilers on their car and few are going spoilerless to be different. You obvisouly want to be different by having that kit so keep going with that idea:)

So Ryan, you think the single ditch going down the side of the door would look worse than the SE ribs? Not in my opinion. I Hated my SE ribs with a passion. Even if i was keeping my car stock, I woulda pulled them off.

Different for sure... but it doesn't look bad, good job on it so far. As for the ribs, they don't look bad with that bodykit. I generally don't like them, but in this case they flow with the styling. I do think that the RKSport door panels, or even GT ribs would look good on it, too. And yes, your car needs a spoiler to finish off the look IMO.

There are 3 things that I think you should seriously consider doing:

1. Have the trunk shaved, mostly to get rid of the 3rd brake light... it would look ghetto to have 2 third brake lights. also you can get the key hole done at the same time if you want, and you might also be able to have the spoiler molded on, too.
2. Have the mirrors painted when you get the spoiler painted. even if you like them black instead of body-colored, have them painted a gloss black instead of that dull plastic look.
3. Have your tails painted to match the body. Don't get me wrong I think that they look good how they are, but its just one more thing to think about.

Oh yea, and I really like those rims! :D

EDIT:: hmm, just thinkin about air-bags... but of course only if you're going for show instead of suspension performance.

Thanks Dave, I think that is a great idea for the side mirrors, having them painted the same color. The car is not finished yet, but I thought I would show some pictures of what has been done so far. Your comments are helpful.

I don't like my SE ribbng either and plan on getting the AED door panels to get rid of it OR get the GT ribbing. The GT ribbing is still a nicer ribbing on all the GA's. RKSport makes door panels for the 99+ GA's so you have a choice to get rid of the ribbing and the ditch running down the doors

Looks cool. Kit looks like it was put on good, and one of the very few I've seen that look good with it. One of the very few I've seen with it infact. A+ for originality, and like everybody else I think something needs to be done about the ribs, and I think the spoiler will look good.

Got any pics of what you ordered?
