It's got the base 2.2L mated to a 5-speed. Not fast, but no slouch either.

Evan is 9 months old now. Still now crawling or walking, but he's trying. He will walk if you hold his hands. :)

I had a commuter car for a couple years already: My '95 F150. I just finally decided that the truck was too expensive for fuel, and not very practical. Especially since I can't fit evan's car seat in it.

The Sunfire will remain mostly stock. I have a few minor plans, such as window tint to keep it cool in the summer (No A/C), but the GA is still my toy. :)

Not bad Shawn, like you said it's good on fuel and you still have your GA! :)

Believe it or not, the GTX and GTO designations are factory installed for certain Canadian Sunfires. Much like the Cavalier Z22. The designations have no real meaning. But yes, there is a Canadian Sunfire GTX. :)

We still have the Z24, but the base Cavalier is available with a 'Z22' package as well, which is equally as useless as the GTO and GTX package on the Sunfire.

Jay, did you cut down your shifter? I think I may give it a go with the 'flower. :D

There was a Z22 Cavy here - the only ones I ever saw were deep purple with pink and aqua Z22 decals and white with purple and pink Z22 decals

Good idea for an additional car shawn!

Just a FYI,

The "Z" anything packages on Chevrolet vehicle is usually the RPO code for a suspension package. ZQ8= S-Series truck sport package, Z71= Silverado Off roadpackage, ZR2= S-Series offroad package, Z51= Corvette suspension package, etc

oh, jay didnt cut his shifter, hes got the b&m short shifter, probably the same I want to buy and modify so it will fit on my GAGT... and the sunfiore GTO seemsa bit sacreligious... and the z22 looks like the US's "RS" (rallisport) model. good stuff
