On saturday I was going to put on my new FFP UD pulley. Well I get the old one off (with reletively no problem) and go to put the new one on and it didn't fit! It was the right one, but the keyway was machined wrong. I'm currently contacting mike over there to resolve this. But anyways, I put the old one back on, and now when I'm on the freeway (doing about 80ish) and let off the gas the car shakes like mad!!! It feels like it's the transmission pulsing the clutch packs or something. I disconnected my battery again hopeing to reset the computer again, but it's still doing it. Any ideas on what it could be? Should I re-seat my CS positon ring in a different position?

I'm going today after work to Autozone to check for codes so I can narrow this down.

thanks for any input.

So when did the SES light come on?

it didn't. I'm assuming that the PCM can still give codes for problems even if the SES light dosen't come on. :???:

The PCM can give codes without setting off the SES light. My PCM was running a code for low voltage in the MAT sensor but wasn't setting off the light.

Update:

I took it to Autozone and it came up clean, no problems. Took it to a dealer and they replaced the cat converter under warrenty, but needless to say, it didn't fix the problem. Took it back and they said they wouldn't touch it with the aftermarket intake...WTF?!!!

I'm going to redo the pulley this weekend and see if the same dumb luck that gave me this problem will fix it. Wish me luck!
