HU Display problem

The other day my car died from leaving it in on position while working inside. I got it jumped but than it stopped reading cds. So i took the HU out and plugged it back in hopping it would work correctly. Now my dispaly doesnt work, you can only see a fraction of the info. Any ideas on why this happened or how to fix it?

Could have been a voltage spike to the head unit when you jumped the car. You could check some of the wiring to it but to me it sounds liek the HU its self is shot.

Not the answer i wanted specially since i just sold my Panasonic HU but thnx for the input, guess ill go lookin for a new one.
