the silver GA is a new GA addict. name: mason... now known on the boards as revras. we took these pics the other day and i decided to post them. he had his car about 24 hours before i tinted it. :lol:

I charged him $110. its 20% all the way around. haha. id drive out to madison if i didnt ahve to pay for the gas ;) heh. hopefully in a few weeks ill start charging around $140 for a four door like a GA.

wow what kinda film do you use? most of the stuff available to consumers is crap. looks like youve got some decent tinting skills, did you work somewhere and tint or what?

my film is called solar film or somethinmg like that. i buy it from a guy who sells it on ebay in 100 foot rolls. I pay like $140/roll.

back windows = suck. i hate doing them, but dang does it look good when its done. i can do a side window in about 20-25 minutes depending on the window and stuff. back window takes me like an hour if i do it right. if i mess up, then i cry. :lol:

i taught myself to tint. took a while. redid all my windows (except back) 3 times, and i still have to redo 1 of them. I want to work in a shop. im trying to start a business in my area, but word of mouth is kind of slow. haha. It is a nice skill to be able to do though!!! on a good day ill make around $15/hr, plus tint cost which isnt too bad for each car.

damn will,very nice job on the tint.u def have the talent for tinting.and you can make a lot of money,the guy that did my tint on my car only took him about a hour and 45mins.he was mad quick and did a awesome job.20% all around too.very nice rides though.

Very nice work. It's a whole lot harder than a person would think. Trust me...I know.
I used a whole role on two back windows... on a two door coupe, at that. lol.
In my defence...It was the first time I tried it. So...it was trial and error. I didn't even bother with the back window. I'll pay somebody to do that.
I did try to put a slight tint on my drivers side window, though. That's when I discovered terrible scratches in the glass. Anybody else have that problem...with scratches.

Very nice job m8. Does that tint film you use fade/bubble/turn purple after a year or so like all the other tint films available to comsumers? If not, i'm lookin for somewhere to get my windows done. 4dr '98 GAGT. I live about 20miles north of Kalamazoo, and about the same south of Grand Rapids.

ive had my tint on for 7 months and ive had no problesm with fading, bubbling, or purpling. matt wants his done and hes in grand rapids. i should go to that side of the state one day and do both your cars. i charge $110, but if you guys want to pay for a tank of gas and feed me for the day, ill charge you each $100 + the gas which is like $30/tank. so $115/each? i have 5% and 20% available. if that sounds good to you, AIM me or something.
