C6 is the 6th Generation of the Corvette

Z06 is the Hi Performance Version

No, the Z06 debuted in 2001 I think, in the C5, the C6 Z06 hasn't been released yet, its an 06 model, there are a few floating around being tested though.

Well I placed the order in December, they recieved the car in March but when I went to pick it up in April it turned out to be the wrong car. So they re-ordered me a new one and got it to me within 6 weeks of discovering the screw up. I'm just glad to have it an enjoy it now since the summer is here in full force

Lots of hard work, and living at home helps. My parents are from the old school European way of not moving out until I'm married and thats not for another couple of years so I'm enjoying it while I can.

Actually...The very first Z06 was in 1963. During the times where manufacturers were against racing. Chevy was not really making the 'Vette as high performance as they could and one of their guys suggested making some high performance parts for it as options because he knew Americans would still want to race. Then they end up making the Z06 version, which is extremely rare. I think '63 was the only year though, until 2001.
