hi yall well i have a friend that got tired of my 1996 4 cylinder GA with CAI exhaust pulleys and ECU and tork converter owning his 1993 civic yes those were the good old days but now he has a Toyota supra with RAI and exhaust and he owned me i have 500 to drop on it right now is there away i can be top dog again or will it take money of the green stuff and what should i put in to get more power thanks

is the supra Turbo? if so then sel our car and get a z28. if its nots turbo then you shouldnt be too far behind, a 75 shot of nos should get you there.

why are you trying to get yoru GA to keep up with a supra? thats a sports car, the GA isnt a sports car by any stretch of the imagination. at best its a sports sedan, but even thats stretching it.

do to the fact i had the fastest car at my high school till he got his supra and it is not turbo and thanks

your 2.4 ga was the fastest at school???? must not be many cars around that school. I'm not crapping on ur car or anything I just find that weird. I had my ga in high school and I dont think I had the fastest car in my grade let alone the school

at my highscool there were a few 5.0L mustangs.. there was a plymouth super bee with a small block v8 and all the typical ricers.. oh.. and one guy had a full size silverado jacked waaaay up.. with monster tires.. and did massive burn outs in the parking lot with... and make it even funnier a guy in a supercharged thunderbird.. he got a speeding ticket in the school parking lot for doing over 30kph.. by the cop.. that was just visiting there that day...

We had a few guys with older chevelle's and a couple nova's. One kid had a freaking vette...a few camaro's...there were lots of nice/fast cars when I wish in HS.

$500 won't get much at all... and certainly not being able to beat Toyota's flagship from that decade.

i'm going to have to agree with everyone else here because the truth is pretty obvious.. if the supra wasn't made in the 80's, you don't really have a shot at keeping up with it without a great wad of cash. 'great' as in 4-6 times what your holding now.

my advice would be to save your $500 for college. buy textbooks and food. cherish the fact that you get better fuel economy ( edit: you could get, if you drive with some sanity ) than the guy in the supra.

i had the slowest car in my highschool, but it had the biggest sunroof! good times.
