This is my 1999 Grand Am SE. I have only just begun to modify the outside, and I plan to drop it and maybe add a body kit:)

I've always thought about neons as well but neons have just been used too much. At one time I would see them on any and everything...but I think the Fast and Furious days have phased out a bit. Lighting is definitely nice as long as it's not over done. I like yours. Definitely lots of potential and this is definitely the place to get ideas. :)

i want underbodies. and i agree about overlighting a car... i say, "put as many lights as you want, just make sure they can be individually controlled." i have lights under my driver and passenger feet, LED's in the vents, and neons in the grill. all are controlled by their own switches. i love it.

I like it. Yea, its easy to overdo the lighting. I have all of mine on one switch because I don't wanna be flipping switches left and right to turn them on, but also I try to keep them on the low-key side (can't see the lighting unless you are within 10 yards of my car).

looks good. i used to have red underbody neons...they got old after a while. youll see that at first youll use them all the time, but since red is illegal, youll never drive with them on from paranoia, and then the excitement fades. after several months i NEVER used them

I checked the laws in the major cities i drive through often, and there is no restriction in my area for color, so I lucked out. As long as the cops can't see the bulbs, I remain legal:)
