Intense racing has a custom PCM for the 3400's and they only want $99 for it.

I've heard very few good things about Intense Racing. They've been pretty much boycotted by clubgp.

all ive gotta say is you get what you pay for, unless you are doing the work yourself. in the case of the PCM mods, thats not easy without the correct software and hardware.

I like the disclaimer that if their PCM is the cause of your engine failure, they are not at fault, really makes ya want to buy one, don't it? mopowr79

But how much does it cost for a PCM really? I mean they take yours as a trade in and reprogram it to sell to the next guy. Their cost is in the few minutes it takes to do it and the equipment to do it with which gets paid for pretty fast since it's probably the same equipment for all GM pcm's. I think we've let other companies charge us TOO MUCH. Now if they promised us a brand new out of the package PCM then it would cost more.

If the actual programing is OK and it functions properly as advertized , it wouldn't be all that bad for the coin . :)

First, I know nothing of them, I haven't modded my car so I know little about any of the new stuff for it.

I checked their site though and they will reprogram your PCM and return it to you so you know that you got one that at least worked before. They also make it clear that they do infact re-use cores.
