Where is the camshaft position sensor? i also got a story. not really a story. my grandma asked her ex-son-in-law(my-ex-stepdad) to take her to the doctor but he already had plans. right before she asked him that, i made up a lie about how my car wouldn't crank when i was in town and i was stuck until i could find a boost. i lied in order to get her to fix my car. then after she asked my dad and he said no and left, i stayed at her house for awhile but she never asked me to take her. i asked her why she ain't ask me? she said she wasn't riding in that car. my aunt was standing near and she asked me about my car and the price to get it fixed. i am about to use one of my english class words. i am FORESHADOWING that their gonna fix it for me. if you have forgotten the real reason i posted here, where is the camshaft position sensor?

Look at your photos.
In pics 27, 28, and 29, the manifolds and valve covers are off, and you're looking into the 'V' (also known as the lifter galley, among other names).
You can barely see the camshaft running under the iron ribs of the galley.
At the left in pic 27, there's a small device mounted on the front web of the block.
Coming from it is about a 10" black wiring harness and connector.
The connector has three wires barely visible: black, red, green.
That device is the CMS, Camshaft Position Sensor. It goes down into the block, and reads a wheel on the camshaft.
Why, you wanna replace it for kicks and giggles? :D :D

Yep, It is. You will have to pull the power steering pump, and to do that means you have to pull the upper engine mount. The cam sensor sits right underneath the power steering pump.
