The Beast Is Running Again!

Well after waiting for the other mechanic to put in the motor and wiring harnes I got of tired of waiting and done it myself... only problem I had with all the wiring is finding the plug to the temp senor in the side of the block, I'm sick of searching and just can't find it anywhere :mad:

But I got it running today and it's purring like a kitten :D

Now the bodyman can finish preping the car and get it painted!

That's awesome news. Isn't the temp sensor on the side of the water tube where the thermostat is? My engine is in my garage on a stand, I'll take a look at it later.

Okay, I went out and checked. There are two temp sensors. One on the filler neck where the thermostat is and the other on the tranny side of the cylinder head directly beneath the distributor.

It's the sensor in the side of head that I can't find the plugin for... it was there last year because I remember pluging the darn thing in, this year I can't seem to find it after hours of searching :mad:
