hey all guys... i was researching on the net to how to custom make my taillights for my '97 grand am... but instead of how to custom make info... i found those cool taillights for '96-98 ga owners.. since if you have troubles finding them... so here s an links.. i ll direct you to them...

^ true or if you buy a set of the ones you posted, take them apart and paint the inside to match your car. that would be sweet :D

sweet98, as you said... www.aedcentral.com isnt working... i tried and tried... it kept saying cannot find server...

yeah i m thinking about to custom make my own taillights... but those taillights covers are tight as hell... i cant pry em out with my sissy arms lol... same to dash vents... so can you give me points how to pry covers out?

Yep...sporting a set of custom tails myself...I can't take the credit for them but you will be way more happy with one off custom tails. And like magyver said...just way too damn expensive!

its all about tinting the tails, but its taking me so damn long because summit racing are the only jerks to carry the VHT Nite Shades stuff, and I dont want to use regular black paint, plus the vinyl I have on my tails right now looks like crap, so tinting is the way to go, im just to damn lazy to customize them anymore... maybe in the future i'll convert everything back there to LEDs to match my front turn signals... LEDs are cheap as helll, I used 22 or so for my front ones and it cost me like 5$ for parts for each bulb. and yea, they are red, since orange is ugly :P

mac i hear ya, but u dont really live around me... i like ure one-offs man they are definitely trip, but i do like my tails too. The shapes are totally different, as well as my orange turns have the bullseye blink

did u do anything to your led tails, or do they just all blink at the same time?

I am in the process of getting custom tail lights but I am having trouble finding a 2 inch white LED that can be my new reverse lights, because the ones in the bumper are going to be taken out (ugly lights IMO)

sweet- they all are tail and brake, the outer ones are stop, turn and tails, the inner are just stop and tail...


mank- you can get a 4" cluster, then desolder the led's and put in a piece of wire so you can do w/ them as you want, any shape or form... just extend the wires and your golden.. thats what i did on my s-10, check the cardomain, it was a 4" led cluster, but i took it apart and added 6" of wire to them and the "board" sits in the fender and the led's are stuck into a pice of plexi that i made to fit in the altezza circle... real easy...

DPTF.....if you don't want to wait around for summit to come through, just run to your local hobby shop and pick up the spray tint they use on the RC cars. I did and it works exactly the same plus it's cheaper.

oh son of a B!7ch, i wish I had seen this reply earlier! i already ordered the nite shades. well, thanks for the tip anyways, if I ever have to repspray them, Im definitely gonna go the cheap route.

i used the testors crap, and it all flaked off my headlights... so be carefull w/ that stuff...

hey all guys.. i done customized my taillights... i ll post them up soon when i borrow my friend's digital camera... when i post em up... let me know if they re look good or not.. if not, i ll sand em down back to stock...
