2003 ga trunk release

i was wondering wich wire to tap into (color and location) to pop my trunk using my after market alarm system. i know i need a relay and that

any help would be great

also ive heard people saying you need relays for the door lock/un but the person that installed it did not use any. also could i not just tap into the trunck release signal from my original factory remote

I will try to help but I have never seen any 99+ wiring. I added a trunk release to my '96 since it had a factory solenoid attached already. I'm assuming yours already does also.

You should require a relay...

30 = To trunk release switch / soleniod. (I don't know the colour of this wire, but it will be coming out of the solenoid and should run to the stock alarm/keyless entry box in the trunk. Just tap into that wire)

85 = Fused +12V power

86 = (-) Trigger output from Alarm

87 = (-) Chassis ground
