New Speakers

I want new speakers from my 1995 Grand AM 4 dr SE. What will fit? I want to replace the two door speakers and the back two. Thanks.

The rear speakers are 6x9's and the door speakers are 4x6. I had upgraded 4x6 in the doors but just changed them for 6.5s and there is no comparison. My system now sounds 10x better than it did before!

I would get some nice 3 way 6x9s and a nice set of 2-way 6.5s for the doors :)

how do you get the 6.5s to fit in the doors?

I just did the same in mine today, added two 2-way 6.5's int eh doors, to make them fit i simply modified the stock plastic housing that the 4x6's were in, just had a piece of plastic to cut out with the dremel and they fit damn near perfectly, other peopel will just create a mount out of plexiglass or wood, or just mount then in the door panels themselves, i just kept mine behind the stock grills, but they definitely sound alot better then the stock, what are you running for a head unit Stephen, ?

what are some good pioneer 6.5s i can get? whats better, 2 3 or 4 way? are the pioneer ts-a6880r 6x8 good for the back?
