View Full Version : My sister's new car
Well my sister joined the j-body owners this past wednesday, her old 1990 corsica lt hatchback was on its last legs, so she traded it in on this
1999 Cavalier z24
Installed her stereo on saturday (wow take dash out much?
Looks and better still sounds awesome in there, really impressed with the factory speakers in it.
One more shot of it, she already agrees, that the blue chevy emblem on the bug deflector needs a reflective red overlay ;)

i agree with the reflective red overlay, the blue is dumb!! and i love the simple z24 rims, they are my second fav rims of all time, first being the GTZ rims, of course, powdercoated black

This Cavy looks like it was well taken care of :)
Yep, body is in primo condition, hell the engine was detailed as if it were new, it does have higher km's for a 99 (150 thou) but runs lik ea champ and so far no problems for her with it

Hey, that looks like the Z24 I had. :D Very nice!
Oh, I noticed the front Chevy emblem's different. The one on the rear is located in a different spot too. Ours were centered with just below the key hole. Congrats!
I miss my baby Z. :(

Blake,
Your sister has a nice car. Tell her not to waste her time trying to get overlays for the bowtie. Just shave them off. It will look much nicer and cleaner. I love cavaliers. I am on my second one and have never had any problems with them. :D

Nicole,
My GA died in February of last year. There was a rock in the middle of the road and I had traffic all around me so I had no choice but to drive over it. I did and it put a hole in the transmission and a crack in the engine. Insurance totaled it, and then I got my Cavy to replace it. :D
