I have a question. My friends tell me that my car might not pass smog because i have CAI, New Muffler, and taken out the temp sensor. Is this true? what should i do?! the smog check up letter came to me few days ago!!!!!

muffler has nothing to do with smog. That just controls the sound of your exhaust. CAI needs to have a carb #. If you still have the stock stuff put it back on. Its alot easier.

wow.. that would really show them... Who are they to regulate emissions? who do they think they are? Who cares if the major city's are covered in smog for half of the day? There is a reason for every law... some might not be a good reason but I think this one is justified.

the ITS will tell the pcm the intake temperature to adjust spark and A/F some what. anyway it finetunes the pcm. so put it in, even if you have to drill a hole in your intake and use RTV. after the gay test.

yea use the stock stuff. they have to parts to the test: 1) emissions, 2) visual. in the visual they check for a cat and for a carb approved intake. just put the stocker back in.
make sure to drive for a while with the sensor back in there otherwise the computer will be going nuts during the testing.
