yes.. the supercharger is OUT. As some of you may recall, I was having some problems with it a month ago. It turns out that I broke the drive shaft. It has been shipped to calgary to be rebuilt. Hopefully I will be able to put it back in within the next month or so. All I have to say is thank god for warranties... id be paying out of my ass to get a new driveshaft machined.

On a side note, stock ga's are SLOW. lol and yes i know my engine bay is a mess

I also got some 077's put on recently and I will be getting a new intake and exhaust put on when my muffler gets shipped here

pretty much... the dealer had the supercharger installed when it was brand new and they put the warranty on it.. my warranty expires in july.. so it was a perfect time for the thing to go :D

an update.. its been out for over 2 months now.. the idiots keep f'ing up.. they called me back last month telling me the blower is fixed and ready to be put back in.. ( a little background.. the dealer where i have the warranty from is 300 miles away)... so i drove the 300 miles.. took a couple of days off of work.. spent a total of 100 bucks on gas.. to find out that the blower is still f'ed up..

needless to say i was royally ****ed off.. all i got from that trip was adding 600 miles to my car.. spending a hundred bucks on gas.. and losing money due to the days i had to take off.. and they refused to reimburse me for their **** up... by the way on a bumper to bumper warranty can i ask for reimbursement for something like this?

anyways it got shipped out again to calgary (pretty close by)... but then yesterday they call me telling me that they had to ship it to california and its going to be another 2 weeks at the minimum

anyways just wanted to rant a little bit.. summer is almost over and i havent had the chance to drive my car with a working blower for a good 4-5 months

funny, whenever i drive my olds eighty eight then get back into my GA i start to appreciate the grand am that much more. that olds is slow as heck.

HOw much boost are you running on it?

How is it tuned? IS that a professional Aftermarket setup?

Taken it to the track?

I'm super interested. All the S/C 3400's I know of have centrifiguals on them...and not the roots type you have.

6psi boost, no tuning.. its a magnasun - eaton setup.. never taken to the track

im not entirely sure how it works.. but i do know that it does have an aftermarker fuel pressure regulator (i think thats what it is)

and i really want to take it to the track.. just no time or money

For starters this on mint whipp, and it's pretty cool that were able to here what the BEAST sounds like. :D

I've been looking for a supercharger for awhile now. Every one says that they don't make one for my car, but now I know that's not true after seeing yours.

If at all possible can you direct me to where you got yours? Also if have any other performance mod's that were hard to find can you give a heads up?

The Eaton kit has been discontinued.. you can however mabye snag one off someone who is selling theirs or ebay...

Only other option for a blower is currently RSM's Vortech kit, I dont think Aleroboy or whatever his name was on GAGT.com has finished that thing of his.. which I believe was a whipple?
