Will a 3.4 throttle body fit a 3100?

I was wondering if a 3.4 throttle body fill fit on a 3100 with little or no modifications.If this is possible what kinds of gains could i expect to see?Trav

It will fit with some minor modification. You will need to swap the throttle plate shaft and linkage from the old 3100 TB so the throttle cable attaches properly. Just make sure you use the 3400 throttleplate when you reassemble it.

Gains will be small if any at all. You're moving from a 52mm TB to a 56mm one (308cfm max to ~350cfm max). I'm unsure if the opening on the small port 3100's upper manifold is 56mm or not. If not you'll have to do some port matching to get the most out of it.

wont see much at all, there (might) be some very little difference when you stomp on the gas for a while... should rev just a tidge more... atleast thats what mine did when i added a tbs to my 3400.
