3rd Brake light

Ok how difficult is it to put an overlay on the 3rd brake light on a 2004 GAGT?? Now mind you my mechanical ability is limited to screwing in a light bulb so please take that into consideration.

Not hard at all. Most things give you instructions when you buy them,s o that makes it much easier.

If you order from places like Grafxwerks, they give you good instructions.

I actaully just put my overlay on yesterday on my 04 gt. It was very simple, the instructions said to unbolt the two bolts then unclip the clips on it from in the truck then take the lights bulb section off the actual lense and pop the lense out. Clean it dry it then apply the overlay. I cut the extra off though because it looked wierd to me.

I had someone put on a 3rd brake light overlay for me about 4 months ago on my '03 GT. The edges are starting to peel a bit where the points are. I'm freaking out because it really looks cool. When I wash it I don't power wash over it, and I don't brush up against it when I dry it either. Is there something I can put over it to protect it. I doesn't look too bad yet, but I don't want it peeling and lookin' all crappy.
