Got the boosted 95 up on the dyno this past weekend at GM Nationals in Carlisle PA.

Currently running 4.5 PSI stock pulley. Considering the 95 2.3L DOHC puts out 150HP at the crank stock, I am pleased. More noticeable was how boost flattened my torque curve... it is not a huge amount, but holds flat from 2500 RPM to 5500 RPM... certainly not like the usual 4 banger it used to be.

Pull #1
Max Power = 172.9 WHP
Max Torque = 159.6 ft-lbs
Chart #1 (http://fazeshift.org/pics/albums/userpics/10001/06-25-2005%20Dyno1%20-%20172.9.jpg)
Video #1 (http://ice8420.com/iceman/friends/matt/P6250047.MOV) (front shot)

Pull #2
Max Power = 166.9 WHP
Max Torque = 155.4 ft-lbs
Chart #2 (http://fazeshift.org/pics/albums/userpics/10001/06-25-2005%20Dyno2%20-%20166.9.jpg) (with wideband)
Video #2 (http://ice8420.com/iceman/friends/matt/P6250049.MOV) (rear/side shot - good exhaust clip)

Other info from the dyno report...
Absolute barometer pressure: 29.73 in.HG.
Intake air temp: 98.8F (it was very hot Saturday)

What I've learned... need to go a bit richer at WOT (it's stoich now) and leaner at idle... I may remove the FMU and tune solely with the S-AFCII since it is more consistent. Once I have the capability to retard ignition timing under boost, then it's time for smaller SC pulley ~6 PSI.

Some pics too...

That's an amazing torque curve! A far cry from the peak and crash of the pushrod v6's curve.

The vids are not working for me. Is seth's site down? I can't wait to see this thing in action!

Or the peaky torque of the Quad 4 that is horrible at low-RPM. One of the reasons supecharging was so attractive to me... going the HO conversion / NA route means peaky power that's not the most streetable.

It's working. Be patient, the clips are 13+ megs... Quicktime browser plugin doesn't show progress. Or just right-click, "save as"

Awesome Matt. Red Supercharged GT, yummy...

What's next to do on your list?

nice runs Matt. How much you think 6psi will give ya with everything tuned right?

Thanx.

Some cleanup/catchup work first...
1. solve alternator weirdness issue once and for all
2. pass a state inspection (going into PA for that show was rather risky since it was expired)
3. oil separator elimination... catch-can setup instead
4. interior mess... the ziptied gauges = clownshoes. Fab a fiberglass + carbonfiber cluster shroud w/ 2 gauge pod above center vents, and S-AFCII over driver vent. Fiberglass dual A-pillar pod. Wiring cleanup and putting the panels back on might help too.

Performance... there is lots to do now that it's boosted...
TRS header (the boost tuned one), boost actuated cutout, alc/water injection, etc.

Honestly I'm not sure - it would be purely a guess of how much power per PSI is gained.

nice. That alchy injection should be a big help for you.
