Friday, July 15th-Wanna go to Six Flags?

Seeing as Friday during the meet is open for us to do what we want, and there is Six Flags-The Great Ecscape about 45 minutes from Albany.


I am wondering if anyone wants to go to Six Flags?

If we get a group of 15 people to purchase tickets 2 weeks prior(which would be this friday) price per ticket would be 19.15 and for every 15 people we have go we get one free ticket. I realize chances of getting 15 people to purchase tickets in advance with such short notices is very slim.

If we get them at the door the day of tickets are still only 21.15 IF we have a group of 15, I'm not positive if we would still get the free ticket this way.

Just so you know, regular admission is 35.99 so this is a HUGE discount. I think this would be a fun thing for us to do on friday.

Also if we don't have a group of 15 Leanne THINKS she might be able to get them for $25 a piece from her bank.

And that is near Lake George NY which is only minutes away from 6 Flags so after you goto the amusment park you can go to the lake. :)

Great Escape is a nice park and all...

but we are heading to Lake george for 4 days after the club meet, then at a later time going to Six Flags in Jersey, so as it is now, we will not be going, sounds like you guys will have fun tho

just remember, you need an even amount of people because odd number of people at theme parks isn't cool.

hell if everyone is ok with leaving the hotel at 8am im good for it! I love amusement parks and rollercoasters so the more time i get there the better! lol

Hey, I went to ALL the 'places' in Florida (Disney, Universal, all of them) and just walked around for the most part ... I used to work on/repair amusement rides and I don't care to ride on them anymore :lol:

I work at Disney, and occasionally get to work with maintainence repairng the ride I work on (Barn Stormer). And I still LOVE rides. I plan on going to third shift after I get done with this internship here. Anyways, sorry for getting side tracked. Just thought i'd ramble.

Oh I just thought of something Cory/Leanne. Maybe we shouldn't buy the tickets in advance. What if it ends up raining that day or something? I'd rather have to pay 5$ more on the day in question then losing 20-25$ because we can't go.

No biggie - if we left 15-20 minutes later on Friday I can go to the bank and pick them up (bank opens at 9) I am going to call tomorrow to see if there is a max on how many tickets can be purchased. :)

Ok, adult tickets are $22 and children 12 & under are $19.

I am going to start buying them wednesday the 13th because from what I am told from a friend of mine that works at the bank... each branch only has "so many" so I may have to branch hop :D
