ok i kno how to hook up the amp and everything no problem there im just wondering where would my power wire pass through the firewall how have others done this

There isn't a factory grommet that you can use like the 99+ so you will have to drill. There is a perfect spot to go through just left of the steering column. Check out the link with the pics I posted of mine...You will be able to pin point the exact location of where to go through very easily. :)

EDIT: just make sure to use a aftermarket grommet and something to seal the hole with to protect it from water getting in.

bah! i just cut a lil hole in the rubber boot around the steering shaft

Stinger, Metra(tsunami) hav side mount battery terminals that work out great for side mount batteries. maybe $20 at ht e most, and can make an underhood install look a million times better/easier.

i have an optima so i just got it on a big eye lit around the top posts. But if u have the standard side mount battery what u can do is put the wire onto a smaller eye lit and slap it inbetween the over the screw, then screw the terminal in. You are going to have to trim a lil of the red rubber part that seals it up soit has room for the wire so it will tighten up and not fall out
