? on new subs and problem with hu

i am gettin new alpine type r subs and was wondering what is better the 2+2 ohm or 4+4 ohm and with my hu wheh i turn my car off the deck turns off but then turns back on by itself with no power to the rest of the car so i have to always turn off the deck after i get out

The ohm load all depends on what amp you're running to the subs... And, it sounds like you're power wire either isn't correctly hooked up or maybe a bad ground somwhere?? That just sounds weird that after you get out, shut down the car and the deck, that it would just turn on by itself...

sounds like the ignition wire is wired up right.. since i assume all the clock and such isnt reseting everytime.. so i would double check that wiring.. because the only way it would turn on after the engine is on.. is the ignition wire is getting power..

yeah it shuts off with the car but the turns back on continueing with the same station or track on the cd and its been like that sense i had almost all of the electrical system replaced by the dealership when it started shorting out
