Dim Radio Display

I had an XM unit installed the other day and now the display on the stock HU is dim right in the middle and fine on the left and right sides. Any ideas? The installer said all he did was take it out to hook up the wires the put it right back in.

I had that same poblem happen to me a few times when I would take my stock radio out and put it back in. I had to mess with the factory wiring harness some and the dimming would go back to normal. All I can tell you is try and reconnect the wiring harness again. Hope this helps.
