I just got my 2 12" infinitys in today and before i just had a 10" back there and my rear view mirror would rattle a little but now with the new subs my mirror rattles so much it moves out of place to where i cant see. Is there and easy fix to this. I really dont want to sound dampen my car but i just need something to keep my mirror in place...

In case your mirror is loose, try tightening the little screw on the base. If that's not the case, then you just have your music too loud and nothing is really gonna help you out with that.

yea, tighten the scerw as much as possible and learn to live without the rearview mirror. Ive been running without one for nearly a year now cuase mine kept falling off.

I've heard that you can put some kind of rubber bushing on the stalk of the mirror and that will lessen the amount of shaking that the mirror will do. As long as you aren't having problems with your mirror falling off, and it just slumps down after a while, then the bushing should dampen the vibrations enough that it should be usable and shouldn't slump as easily.

1....this has been discussed SEVERAL times. but since we're on the subject i'll tell you something that has a 100% success rate. the only downside is that it's a little on the permanent side.

adjust your mirror to where you want it. take it off. put a bead of super glue (or something of the sort) around the pivot point. let it dry completely before you try and use it again.

like i said, you're mirror is worthless after this point, but it won't move around like that anymore :D

I just used dynamat and wrapped it around where the mirror meets the glass. I had a problem with my mirror falling off all the time, but since the dynamat, all is good.

Doesn't that look very awkward and weird, tho?
