Are these all basically the same 60-degree block? If so, which one has the most meat in the water-jackets near the bores, and in the main-bearing area ??

The 3100, 3400, and 3500 are GM's 60 degress V6 block family. The 3300 is part of the 3800 series blocks making it a 90 degree V6. As for your other questions sorry I can't help you there.

Thanks GAGT SC, I was looking for the strongest bottom-end in order to experinent on installing modular sleeves and really going whole-hog on bore-size. Sometimes ther older castings have more meat in the webs, etc. And I guess the 3400 crank is the biggest stock we can find, eh? Have you heard of any after-market stokers, say over 1/4 inch longer throw?? Thanks again.
