looking for help, having problems with idle, when injectors cleaned, problems goes away for a day. Have changed filter, had pressure checked, changed coil pak, the garages have not been able to find the problem and it is getting very costly, any suggestions on where to look

Let's start with some sort of description of what the problem is.

Engine runs rough, the two center injectors keep fouling up, if they clean the two injectors it cleans up, it is like it is choking itself, it is like it is electrical, something shorting out, it sometimes cleans itself up, but other times it will not even start, then it is a trip to the garage. I am mechanicly inclined but am stumped with this one

I would agree that it is electrical. If it was mechanical, all injectors would be effected.

The only suggestion I would have is to get a service manual and trace out what controlls the center injectors.

You might be able to find out on the Caviler, Sunfire, Saturn or SAAB boards. They have been using the ecotec engine longer than Pontiac.

Although they are new plugs, I checked them again this morning, one was wet, also one pin on the coil pak was discolored. Changed the plug and put the old coil pak back in, it took a block to clean up. Brought it to Canadian Tire to check fault codes they cleared them and seems to be fine, hopefully the problem is gone.
