better transmission

Is there another transmission that i can put into my 2.4 that would be a little more "sportier" i know its automatic, but i was just wondering if there was something better out there for speed reasons.

Swap in the getrag 5-speed from a GA.

The gear ratios and power handling kicks @$$.

i swear my car is faster than my friends 97 se with the 6 cylindar.

If im not faster, im more fun cus i have the 5sp, hahaha. It's just fun shiftin thru the gears, and i can spin the tires at every light whre it take a lil precision with the auto
