Just finished painting them today and only have the 6.5's and monitor set into them, nothing's mounted yet, obviously. Everything should be installed this week.
trunk lid as in the actual lid or the rear deck?

wow thats one of if not the cleanest jobs ive seen of that type. the only thing i would have changed would be to mold the screen into the fiberglass piece, and maybe hide the wire better. other than that...im pretty much speechless.

yeah, I wasn't happy at all with the way I had to run the wire up...even though it's flex loomed and taped up. there was no way for me to run the video RCA to the screen any other route the way the trunk skin and underside bracing was, way too tight and there's no way in hell I was going to cut or break any of the glue/sealant. I don't want to stir up any more rattles or anything like that.
Idealy, what I'd like to do now is remove the trunk lid, and glass each pod to the turnk lid, finish and repaint it all. maybe over winter.... And didn't flush the monitor in for the ease of swapping it if necessary.
Thanks for the compliments though, I didn't like how it looked at first, but once everythingwas secured, and functioning,y eah I changed my mind quick. lol
Thanks again

Looks amazing steve!
I think carpeting the lid, or doing the entire thing in fiberglass might clean it up a lil' bit, but it looks great!

I'm sure you could fiberglass a small cover for that wire, then it would just look like a small bump.
