First off I have the 5 spoke chrometechs.

People who had the car before me didn't take very good care in cleaning it, well the wheels weren't looking great when I got it and now after an IL winter they look worse, starting to pit. So I was thinking of just sanding them down and painting them silver like some of the other GA's came with.

Is there any suggestions on paint, clearcoat, etc.?

This will hopefully only be for a few months until I order my aftermarkets.

maybe ask in the bodyshop forum? I'm sure a couple people who visit there could help

Ah, thanks Dave, I didn't even think of that. And I don't know if they could be powder coated or not, cause they are the chromed plastic, and to powder coat it gets baked.

What I wanted to do was take the plastic off and have the aluminum underneat it powdercoated but everybody says the plastic can't come off.
