AHHHH didn't think about the folding chair.
See, I am at a disadvantage here, when I left for Hawaii for 2 weeks, I had to pack for... the 2 weeks in Hawaii, the 5 days at the GAOC club, and 3 days in Lake George afterwords..... so far I did a good job, got the Motorola Talkabouts and all... but a few things I forgot to get....grrr.....

Since we're sharing a room I would strongly suggest a bar of soap, toothbrush and toothpaste as a minimum. A sleeping bag and pillow might not be a bad idea since we're not sure if/how many cots we will have available. A cooler if you have one could be helpful, I know I always prepare a bunch of sandwiches before I leave for the trip and in case I get the munchies during any of our non-catered event. Bring a jacket or sweater for our late-night "chats" in the parking lot. Something rainproof is also a good idea in case we get hit while at the track/park.

We were only able to get 1 bed room, the 2 beds were gone...
they said there was no room at all for a cot, and woudln't let us have one...
So I brought my cot, it is in my car, in Albany right now, and I think Brandon is bringing an air mattress, so we will have places to sleep, if my cot goes unused, and someone needs something to sleep on, I wont mind lending it out :)

Ok it is very simple. Guy need deodorant and waterguns.
Girls need skinpy clothes, white shirts, and ready to get wet.
Sounds great huh.
This is what goes through a guys mind when the GF go nuts on you.

I'm not so much worried about it raining Thursday - you can have a car show in the rain, however the track is another story. BUT we do have another option.... They have test & tune wednesday nights - if its still calling for thunder stormsfor Fridau and then Wednesday and it ends up being nice wednesday maybe we could go then.. I believe Wednesday test & tune starts at 4 until 9 or 10
Better than not going at all right?

Just a suggestion! hahah, cause if it rains Saturday and we don't go wednesday then there won't be a track day this year.

I'll be pooped out :)
hell, I am pooped out now... caught a 100lbs Marlin... that was cool :)
BTW, how many of us at the meet are gonna have V8's? never mind how fast the cars are... it's all about the classic American V8... The Caddy has one, your Camaro has one.... who else? someone said they are bringing a Corvette? will the Trans Am be there again?
I may be the slowest V8 powered car there :( thats not cool.... ah well.... it's all in the fun :) plus 200hp and 275ft-lbs of torque from a 4.9L engine isn't alot today..... 15 years ago when it was new it was very good, but today the specs are average..... although she does run pretty good :)
first year - 16.0 @ 83mph
last year - 15.9 @ 85mph
Hopefully it'll run better this year... more miles on her, yeah, but she is running lots better since the last times.... still, all origanal and all stock.... plus the 2.73 gears and luxury ride suspension don't do much to help the acceleration either :)

I can't believe nobody said "cool tunes."
Ok...Cool tunes may not be needed. I mean...most people will have cool tunes anyway. But ya gotta sound cool...as-well as look cool.
Damn.. I wish I was going. I would really like to meet you guys.
On the other hand...My "cool" tunes would prolly make most of you say...WTF? lol.

I have my CD collection, and XM :)
kinda sucks, I just sold my sub... so no more thumpin.... BUT I did install the front component speakers and it sounds really nice....
of course I already ordered the parts for the new sub (actually, they should be at my house by now) but we gotta build a box and get it all together..... that thing is gonna be so insane it won't even be funny :)

Frank is bringing his new Vette, and i think there will be two GTO's and it looks like rob will show up after the show and shine with the TA!
if there is no traction at the track i will be the slowest V8, stupid track never has any traction around here, i get more traction on the street(but then again, i havnt been there on the new tires) and ive been pulling 16.3's anything over 1/4 throttle off the line spins the tires, probably wouldnt hurt to work on my launch either.

maybe we could set up a race... that would be pretty cool...
even tho the Caddy is FWD, with my 16" wheels and GoodYear tires, she grips like a bear..... if I am stopped and heading stright, unless I mash the gas as hard as I can, it just grips and goes.... I am impressed with the traction of the car.
