Removing Rear Speakers 2001 4 Door

I need help removing my 6 X 9 speakers in the rear of my 2001 Grand Am. Do I have to remove the rear seat or can I just pull the covers off? Please help as soon as possible. Thank You in advance.

There's only 4-5 plastic plugs that hold the rear deck in place. The hardest part is just getting to them which really isn't that hard. Hope this helps.

I just pulled off those covers when I replaced mine, but I would suggest that you follow the FAQ entry instead. Things go much more smoothly that way.
