I want to put a CD player in to replace the cassette deck, but I'd like something that fits perfectly and matches. So would this work? If not, was there a CD unit available on the 1995 GA?

The newer duble din ones will not fit. You might be able to get a facotry cd player off ebay or the pick and pull. But it's best to go after market.

A stereo from a 1999 or 2000 should fit, but not 2001+. And yes, they had a CD player in the '95 models.

OK, thanx guys. The reason I am not going aftermarket is I want it to match the interior, hence wondering which factory units I could drop in. I'm not that interested in car audio to be obsessing about it, just need something to play my CDs. I guess I'll start hitting eBay and the yards.

there was an option for a cd player as early as 94 I know cause my car had an option for one. So if you find one of these cd players it would fit perfect in your car seeing is how you have a 93. I have seen 92-95 ga with a newer gm radio in it, It looked like a pretty good fit.

size wise, like Shawn said they'l lfit, but mounting is a different story. You won't be able to use the factory mounts.

So if I wanted something that uses the factory mounts, what's the last year I want to be looking at, 1995? Thanx.

I'm 99% sure the 92-95's all mounted up the same way, so something durring that era is what will bolt right in for you.
