here are my door panels that i redid. cloth was re-wrapped with vinyl fabric, the door panels dyed with black vinyl dye...and the plastic is redone with kyrlon red spray paint. i also vinyl dyed the steering wheel to keep with the interior set up...the charcoal gray just looked out of place....

and the steering wheel...my original plan was to do the little post parts in red...but the red vinyl dye didn't work worth a crap so i did it in all black....

i'm using the dupli color vinyl and fabric dye from autozone....the door panels i sprayed like spray paint...the steering wheel was done by spraying the dye into a cup and then using a paint brush to apply it.....

bah thats so much work! i may dye my steering wheel and e brake handle, and the lid to the center console thing, and get a new shift knob (mine is torn to ribbons) thats too much work and patience for me on the door panels, but they look so damn good. I love it. And I probably have a bit of bias towards your car/work since thats the paint scheme I have done my interior in, only a few minor details vary between our interiors. But, bias aside, its still a-f***ing-mazing. Nice work, as usual :thumbup2:
looks ricey IMO. then again any two color paint scheme inside does, i like to keep my interiors somewhat stock looking.

I appreciate the work involved, and like the look. But I think the shine would blind me. Isn't there an alternative with a lower sheen?

looking good man.... I'm lovin the door panel. Have to admit though, that steering wheel is hella-glossy. just gotta finish up those minor details.. fog light panel, steering wheel cover, etc...

Have you had any problems with it getting sticky when its stuck for a while in hot weather? I sprayed my door inserts a while ago and had that problem, but I think it was because I used clearcoat on them too. I think the clear was the problem. I re-did them again but I am not clearing them this time.

nah...no sticky problems...glare really isn't a problem...the camera makes it look worse than what it actually is.....the inside heats up faster...but that's about the only problem....

not to flame or anythin, but whoever called the interior ricey, isnt allowed to speak, they have black altezzas on a white GA. and I'll leave it at that.

thanks for all the comments guys...this was problem the most troublesome thing i've done surprisingly....the cloth insert doesn't just pop out like the 99+'s....the cloth is actually glued down to the vinyl...so i had to cut out the cloth insert and then glue it back down again...which was a PITA....but i'm happy with the way it turned out....
page 2 of my cardomain shows the whole completed interior with new pics.....'bout the only thing left would be a a pillar gauge pod molded to the a pillar once i have cash for the gauges...

that has to be my fav mod as well, the inserts just look smoother and better wrapped in vinyl. cloth is stupid!.
that and the steering wheel, even though it is hella glossy, it was meant to be black!

looks nice man. I think Im gonna 'glass my door panels. That way I don't have to deal with cloth peeling or possible cracking of vinyl because of age or whatever. Plus I wanna put some extra speakers in the doors so 'glassin is really the only way to do that and make it clean looking.
Nice job tho, interior is looking badass!
