I wont be able to make it to this years meet. I have to travel for work to Grand Rapids on wed, thurs, and friday. My flight gets in on the morning of saturday then its an hour drive home. There is a slight possibility that I can come up saturday night but it depends on how tired I am.
I'm not very happy about this as I was looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new friends:(

I'm sorry hun, I tried like hell to get out of this trip and I told my boss 4 times that I had this vacation scheduled 4 months in advance but he said its important that I be there for this company

When a company starts messing with your personal life it’s time to leave.

I wouldn’t even give then notice.

They just messed your vacation now they thing your their bitch.

well actually the reason they need me to go is cuz I'm the only one in this place with the knowledge of whats going on at these meetings. If I left the company they'd be up shit creek without a paddle

kel- bonus? hahah my only bonus is working here another 30 years
The good thing out of this is I get to travel, eat and drink for free, and i usually buy souveniers on the companies amex card :D

You know best John, but at 26 now is the best time to make your moves.
If your extremely necessary to the company then they should compensate you accordingly. (ei: Bonus)
